Hamilton Relay Showcases Innovative Speech-to-Speech and Captioned Telephone Services

AURORA, NEB. (February 21, 2012)Hamilton Relay, a leading Telecommunications Relay and Captioned Telephone services provider, will participate in the California State University Northridge (CSUN), Center on Disabilities’ 27th Annual International Technology and Persons with Disabilities Conference held February 27 – March 3, 2012 at the Manchester Grand Hyatt Hotel in San Diego, California. The CSUN conference – the largest of its kind in the world – features technology solutions to help remove barriers that prevent the full participation of individuals with disabilities in educational, workplace and social settings. Last year’s conference drew more than 4,800 attendees.


 


Speech-Language Pathologists Judy Montgomery, Ph.D., CCC-SLP and BJ Gallagher, Ph.D., CCC-SLP will co-present Hamilton Relay’s Speech-to-Speech (STS) offering on Friday, March 2 at 10:40AM PST in the “Annie AB” suite. Hamilton Relay’s STS service is an advanced solution that enables individuals who have difficulty speaking to communicate over the telephone.


 


“Our company is devoted to keeping individuals who have difficulty speaking or who experience hearing loss connected through the use of technology,” said Dixie Ziegler, vice president of Hamilton Relay. “CSUN’s annual conference will be a showcase for our many assistive solutions and we’re thrilled to have Dr.’s Montgomery and Gallagher co-present on our behalf.”
