Freeus, LLC Launches Belle: New 3G Emergency Alert Pendant

OGDEN, UT - Freeus, LLC, one of the fastest growing mobile personal emergency response system (mPERS) businesses in the United States, announced the launch of their newest generation of mobile PERS, BelleTM.

Belle expands users’ horizons and enables them to press one button to get help at home or away, anywhere in the US where there is AT&T 3G coverage. Belle does not require a landline or base station. It is shower-safe, lightweight and easily worn or carried with the included lanyard.

Belle features upgraded hardware and powerful two-way voice technology, and it comes with a charging cradle. Belle’s unique approach to power management allows the battery to last up to 30 days per charge.

“We are pleased to offer Belle based on feedback from our dealers and their customers,” said Craig Pyle, Freeus Vice President of Product. “Belle is our most durable and highest quality product to date, and we are excited to make it available to our dealers.”

Belle connects users to emergency care specialists at a UL-Listed, CSAA-Certified Five Diamond central station 24/7 with the press of a button. Care specialists can speak with users and view user-provided information. Depending on the help that is needed, care specialists can send loved ones or emergency personnel to help.

If a Belle user needs to be located in an emergency, specialists can transfer the user to 911 for location and dispatch. Specialists can then reconnect with the user to wait on the line until help arrives.

Belle is powered by the remotely redundant, cloud-based Orion M2M platform developed by Freeus. Orion fuels the functionality of Freeus mPERS devices and integrates them with cellular networks and the central station. It also provides tools for dealers to quickly and easily manage their customers’ mPERS devices. KORE provides network connectivity for Orion and Freeus products, including Belle.

“Freeus has done a remarkable job of utilizing reliable M2M communications capabilities to develop a next-generation Internet of Things solution,” said Alex Brisbourne, CEO, KORE. “With wireless connectivity managed by KORE PRiSMProTM, Belle plays an important role in extending senior mobility beyond the home environment and delivering peace of mind to seniors and their caregivers.”

Belle is sold through a nationwide network of Freeus-authorized dealers. Interested parties are invited to request a Belle demo device to learn how it can help their business and customers.

“With Belle, we have designed a product and service that is cost-competitive with traditional PERS, yet provides increased mobility and freedom for the user,” said Pyle.

Freeus will showcase Belle at ISC West 2016 in booth 33091. Attendees are invited to schedule an appointment to meet with Freeus to get a first look at Belle and request a demo device.
