CareTree is a communication system that works in tandem with an EMR to provide coordination efforts between physicians, caregivers and the family. According to Carl Hirschman, founder,CareTree is a compliment to an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system. Our premium version was designed specifically for the professional caregiver to include billing & scheduling, accounting exports and advanced communication options. This white paper was developed based on an interview with Pam Patterson, the Chief Nursing Officer at Cantata Adult Life Services in Brookfield, Illinois. In her role, she advices nursing facilities about best practices and the use of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) – overseeing Cantata at Home and Cantata Adult Life Services.
