AFrame Digital to Present its Latest Innovations in Senior Care at the 2012 American Society on Aging's Annual Conference

AFrame Digital, Inc. announced today that CEO and President Cindy Crump will be speaking at the 2012 Annual Conference of the American Society on Aging in Washington D.C., from March 28-April 1, 2012. During a workshop titled "Staying Connected While Aging in the Digital Era," Crump will discuss ways that mobile and wireless technologies and products can improve the quality of life of seniors. She will provide examples of how AFrame Digital's FDA-cleared MobileCare Monitor™ services are being integrated in home and facilities-based settings to promote health and wellness, independence, and safety without overloading caregivers with information. She will also discuss ways medical providers are implementing the company’s solutions to support care coordination and management across the care continuum to promote safety, quality and cost efficiencies.

"User acceptance is key, which is why we develop mobile and wireless solutions that are nonintrusive, discreet and easy-to-use," says Crump. She adds, "With user acceptance, we can leverage the power of real-time, continuous health and wellness data to create a silent and dignified safety net for seniors as they age in place. This is also important for seniors returning home after long-term or rehabilitative care. Mobile wireless solutions should provide peace of mind for concerned family members - who may live far away - and also facilitate mobility and decision support for those with immediate care responsibilities."

The "Staying Connected While Aging in the Digital Era" workshop will occur on Saturday March 31, 2012 from 9:30 am - 10:30 am. The ASA Conference, with more than 3,000 attendees, is recognized as a showcase for programs and projects that can be replicated, a forum for policy discussion and advocacy, and a prime source of information on new research findings in aging. It is the largest gathering of a diverse, multidisciplinary community of professionals from the fields of aging, healthcare and education, along with business leaders from across the United States.
